All tracked nutrients for today, from foods that list them. Values are estimates.
Saved on this device — your food log, goals, and settings are stored in this browser, so they’re still here when you close and reopen the tab. Past days are kept in your Diary. Photo results are fast on-device estimates; adjust any value before saving.
Your most-logged foods, favorites, and recent meals — one tap to log again.
Take or pick a photo. CalorieDash reads the plate on your device — colors, coverage, and portion cues — and drafts the calories and macros for you to confirm. Nothing is uploaded.
Type it the way you’d say it — “2 eggs and toast”, “a chicken burrito bowl”, “half a bagel”. CalorieDash matches it against the built-in food database instantly.
Built-in database of 150+ foods, your custom foods, plus live results from Open Food Facts. Premium also unlocks the Restaurant & brands database — 60+ chain and packaged favorites, badged with the brand name. Star a food to pin it to your favorites. Amounts work in servings, grams, or ounces — editing grams recalculates everything.
Type or paste a barcode number to look the product up in Open Food Facts, or scan it with your camera where your browser supports it.
Tap the mic and say your meal — “two eggs and toast with coffee”. It’s parsed exactly like Describe it, and you confirm before anything saves.
Already know the numbers? Punch them in — two fields and you’re done.

Burn is estimated from the Compendium of Physical Activities MET values and your body weight. Burned calories count against today’s budget as net calories on the Today screen.
Log your weight to see the smoothed trend, your 7-day average, and week / month change.
Set a goal weight and CalorieDash projects an estimated date from your 7-day-average weight trend and your recent average daily net calories. It is an estimate based on your recent trend — real weight change is never perfectly linear.
Pick a preset, start the timer, and it keeps running even if you close and reopen the app. Fasting is optional record-keeping only — it is not medical advice, and you should skip fasting and talk to a clinician if you are pregnant, under 18, have diabetes, or have a history of eating disorders.
Opens a clean one-page summary of the last 7 days — print it or save it as a PDF from your browser.
One tap logs the whole meal. Build a recipe by adding foods below, or save any meal straight from the Diary.
Your food joins search results and stays saved on this device. Enter values per 100 g, or per serving.
Export everything — full log history, custom foods, recipes, saved meals, weight, water, activities, fasts, goals, and settings — as one JSON file, and restore it here anytime. This is separate from the single-day CSV export.
Pick the accent color for the whole app — the calorie ring, the + button, tabs, bars, and buttons all follow it.
CalorieDash is built on the same public bases the open-source trackers use:
All values in CalorieDash — photo estimates, database figures, Open Food Facts results, calorie targets, and activity burn — are estimates, not medical advice. Food labels and recipes vary; when a number matters, check the package or a clinician.
Uses the Mifflin–St Jeor equation — the same estimate most dietitians start from — times your activity level.
Set protein, carbs, and fat as a % split of your calorie goal, or as exact grams. Optional goals for fiber and sodium show in Today’s full nutrition.
Give training days and rest days different calorie targets. When this is on, Today’s ring and “kcal left”, Insights averages-vs-goal, and your weekly recap all use the goal for that weekday. Macro targets scale with the day’s calorie goal unless you set fixed grams. Off by default — with it off, every day uses your main goal above.
Tap your training days, set both calorie targets, and apply — it fills in all seven days at once.
Calorie estimates — photo, description, or database — are approximations, not medical advice.
